Are safaris harmful to the environment or the animals?

Safaris are ESSENTIAL for protecting the environment, fostering sustainability, and safeguarding wildlife. Safaris promote environmental preservation and conservation while generating revenue for the local communities in which they operate. Additionally, a lot of safaris go above and above to support conservation efforts in their own nations.

Without African safaris, poaching would increase and there would be less of a need for the government to fund conservation efforts. Just be sure to pick a safari company that is concerned about its environmental effect.

By utilizing solar energy, giving visitors custom metal water bottles and filtered water to avoid plastic use, and minimizing trash, you should put an emphasis on being environmentally friendly. We don’t have any enduring structures either. We travel, pitch our tents, and then pack everything back up, taking just our memories with us.

In addition, to support ecotourism, we provide $50 or $35 for every visitor to a nonprofit organization that focuses on conservation.

How do I organize a safari in Africa?

It’s not as hard to organize an African safari as you would believe. At first, it could seem frightening, but it doesn’t have to. To obtain assistance with arranging your safari, you may also get in touch with a travel agency. They frequently collaborate with visitors to organize their ideal vacation.

However, it helps if you can respond to a few important questions before planning your safari.

  • Which nations are you curious about?
  • How much room do you have in your budget to accommodate your dream?
  • Other than going on safari while visiting Africa, do you have any other plans? For instance, we enjoy going to Cape Town in South Africa and witnessing the magnificent Victoria Falls.
  • When would you want to take a safari? Since places fill up quickly, most tourists schedule their safari at least six months in advance.
  • What kind of experience do you desire at a camp or lodge? For the ideal Instagram shot, choose ultra-luxury hotels or our favorite, safaris beneath the stars.

Final Thought

The dry season, which lasts from June to October, is the ideal time to go on safari. You are more likely to spot animals now because it is colder outside and they are looking for water sources. You may also view the famous Masai Mara migration during these months.

The Okavango Delta in Botswana, a place where buffalo and swimming lions fight, is unquestionably the best place to go on an African safari. International flights and aircraft transfers not included: Expect to pay between $4000 and $4,500 per person for a 6-night safari split between two camps. A similar 6-night mobile camping trip should cost around $2,500 per person, however, costs might vary.
